What is a home inspection?

A home inspection  is a non-invasive examination of the condition of the property, including it's many components, to give you valuable information about the property before you make a financial commitment.

At Spearhead Inspections, we have the experience and training to perform the type of home inspection you deserve. We will then prepare and deliver to you a detailed written report of our findings. You can then use the knowledge gained from the report to make informed decisions about your pending real estate purchase or sale.

Why should you consider a home inspection?

Ensure the home you buy is a good investment

Buying a home can often be one of the biggest investment you will make, so having a home inspection is a very important part of the process. A qualified home inspector assesses the condition of the property, including its heating and cooling systems, plumbing, electrical, roofing system, foundation, in fact there are over 20 different elements inspected during a typical home inspection.  This includes looking for evidence of damage or any other issue that may affect the value of the property and hopefully minimize unwanted surprises. We also feel it is important to look for and report on any new or upgraded elements that we may discover in or around the house during the inspection.

Understand maintenance needs before purchase

Every house needs continual maintenance. Throughout the inspection process, Spearhead Inspections will take the time to look for and report on maintenance items that should be considered right away and/or in the future to help preserve or improve the condition of your home.

Ensure that your home will be a safe place to live

At Spearhead Inspections we will do our best to look for and make you aware of any safety concerns in and around the property that could cause injury to you or your loved ones.
